입문 내용이니까 세라믹에 대한 기본 사항을 알아볼까요?

 

치과용 세라믹은 glass phase에 따라서 분류하는 것이 일반적입니다. 즉

 

Glass phase를 가지는 Ceramics

  - Glass-ceramic

  - Glass-infiltrated ceramic

Glass phase를 가지지 않는 Ceramics

  - Oxide ceramic (polycrystalline) = high-strength ceraimic 으로 분류합니다.

 

1. Glass-ceramics

 

- Glassy phase of natural or synthetic teldspar surrounding a crystalline phase

- Multi-phase microstructure

- Commercially available systems

  : Empress I, Empress II and Empress Esthetic systems

  : Authentic (anaxdent, Germany)

  : Creapress (Creation, Klema, Austria)

 

 

2. Glass-infiltrated ceramics

 

- Most glass-infiltrated ceramics have a porous alumia skeleton, which is infiltrated, that is reinforced with lanthanum glass

- Multi-phase microctructure

- Commercially available systems

  : In-Ceram (Vita Zahnfabrik, Germany) / Alumina (Al2O3)

  : In-Ceram Spinell (Al2O3 + MgO2)

  : In-Ceram Zirconia (Al2O3 + ZrO2)

 

 

3. Oxide ceramics (high-performance ceramics)

 

- Oxide ceramics have a pure alumina (Al2O3) or zirconia (ZrO2) crystalloine matrix

- Single-phase microstructure

- Commercially available systems (대부분의 CAD/CAM sytem)

  : Procera (Nobel Biocare, Sweden)

  : Cercon (DeguDent, Germany)

  : DCS (DCS Detal AG, Switzerland)

  : CEREC (Sirona, Germany)

  : Lava (ESPE, Germany)

 

 

 

세라믹의 투명도 순서는 다음과 같습니다.

 

Venering ceramics > Empress I > In-Ceram Spinell > Empress II > Procera > In-Ceram Alumina > In-Ceram Zirconia
